Why every drone deployment needs a communications plan

Sukh Bhela is a California police sergeant who has served as a UAS operator, UAS supervisor, and incident commander during critical incidents. Running calls is where the gap showed up: the aircraft sees something, the pilot describes it over the radio, and by the time it reaches the incident commander it is a sentence instead of a picture. That is the problem BabbarOps was built around, and it is why the product is organised as a shared operational picture and an incident command workspace rather than as another video feed.
